With about 4700 patent families, CEA is recognized worldwide for its intellectual property portfolio. Movea and CEA operate together the “MotionLab”, a common R&D unit. Not only Motionlab contributes to Movea’s IP growth but it provides Movea an exclusive access to a 24 CEA patent families pool.
- Technicolor: technology driven company for media and entertainment, owner of key human-TV interaction patents. Through the acquisition in 2007 of Gyration, inventor of in-air cursor control for computer peripherals and Technicolor license user of in-air pointing devices, Movea gained access to a pool of essential renowned patents enabling significant improvement for computer interaction.
